VAE Visits Ireland

Come wish The Vocal Art Ensemble Go n-éirí an bóthar leat!

In September, VAE will embark on a whirlwind performance tour of Ireland, representing Yolo County in the ancient castles and grand cathedrals of Galway, Killarney, Cork, Kilkinney, and Dublin.

But before they go, VAE invited all their friends to join them for a preview of the tour repertoire, right here in Davis. Featuring beloved favorites from their first two and a half years together, this special one-night concert highlights choral works from Ireland, England, Sweden, and Africa, as well as masterpieces by American composers Ticheli, Whitacre, Daley, Forest, and Hogan.
